3DPS Cut Tools – End User License Agreement

Version 1.0 – 6 October 2026

This agreement is between 3D PROJECT SYSTEMS SRL, Vladimirescu, Arad County, Romania, CUI 29973347, Trade Register no. J2012000319024 ("3DPS", "we") and the company or person that installs or uses 3DPS Cut Tools ("you"). If you accept it on behalf of a company, you confirm that you may do so, and "you" means that company.

3DPS Cut Tools (the "Software") is an add-on for ZW3D. It includes the FlatCut, CreaseCut, AutoBend and Settings modules, the installer, updates and documentation. The files and data it produces – DXF files, part property values, flat patterns, bend features, reports, logs and diagnostic files – are the "Output".

By selecting "I accept" in the installer, or by installing or using the Software, you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the Software.

1. Professional use

The Software is intended for businesses and professionals only, not for consumers.

2. Trial

You may use the Software free of charge for 31 days from its first use on a computer, to evaluate it. After that it stops working until a license key is entered. You may not reset, extend or bypass the trial.

3. License

3.1. For each module you license, you may install and use it on the one computer for which the license key was issued (identified by the Machine ID shown in Settings), for your own business. The license is non-exclusive and non-transferable.

3.2. A license key is perpetual unless it shows an expiry date. Prices and any other terms are in our quotation or invoice.

3.3. If you replace a computer, we may issue a key for the new one once you confirm the Software has been removed from the old one.

4. What you may not do

• use a module on more computers than you have licenses for;
• sell, rent, lend, share or distribute the Software or a license key;
• bypass the license check or the trial limit;
• modify the Software, or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law allows this regardless of this agreement.

5. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold; 3DPS keeps all rights in it. Your Output belongs to you.

6. Check the Output before you use it

The Software processes geometry automatically: it reads your parts, may add features to them (such as Mark Bend and Flatten), writes values to part properties and creates DXF files next to your parts. Automatic processing cannot be right for every part. Check the Output before you use it for cutting, manufacturing, purchasing, costing or quotations, and keep backups of your files – the Software changes the parts it processes and overwrites DXF files and property values with the same names.

7. Limitation of liability

7.1. We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit, production downtime, wasted material or machine time, incorrect quotations, or lost or corrupted data.

7.2. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the affected module in the 12 months before the claim. For the trial and any free use, we are not liable for any damage.

7.3. This does not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for personal injury, or under mandatory product liability law.

8. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty that it is error-free, works with every part or ZW3D version, or suits your purpose. It requires a separately licensed copy of ZW3D; the supported versions are listed on 3dprojectsystems.com, and compatibility with future ZW3D versions is not guaranteed.

9. Updates and support

We may provide updates and support, but are not obliged to unless agreed in writing.

10. Your data

The Software works offline and does not send any data over the internet; the license is checked on your computer. The Machine ID is a short code derived from the Windows installation and contains no personal data.

Each run writes, next to your model, a plain-text log. A diagnostic file (.3dpsdiag) for support is written only if you turn it on in Settings (it is off by default). The diagnostic file contains only technical data about the run (measurements and program steps): no part names, no folder paths, no geometry and no personal data. It is encoded so that only we can read it, the Software never sends it anywhere, and it reaches us only if you send it. You can delete it at any time.

When you contact us for a license or support, we use your contact details, your Machine ID and the files you send only to issue licenses, invoice and help you (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).

11. ZW3D

ZW3D is a product and trademark of ZWSOFT Co., Ltd. 3DPS is not affiliated with or endorsed by ZWSOFT.

12. Termination

You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the Software. We may end your license by email if you seriously breach this agreement (in particular section 4) and do not fix it within 15 days. When the agreement ends, uninstall the Software; fees paid for a license ended because of your breach are not refunded. Sections 5 to 8 and 14 continue to apply.

13. General

This agreement, with any quotation or invoice, is the whole agreement about the Software. A new version of this agreement applies to the Software versions supplied with it. If a clause is invalid, the rest stays in force. You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. The English text prevails over any translation.

14. Governing law and courts

This agreement is governed by Romanian law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Disputes go to the competent courts of Arad, Romania.
